About Us

Welcome

A very warm welcome to our website. Our prayer is that the Lord will bless you as we share with you good things He is doing among us.

At SHCC, we believe that God has a destiny for every person – a great and wonderful purpose for you to fulfil in your life. It begins with getting to know God through His Son, our Lord Jesus Christ. Once your life is safely in His hands you can discover that purpose and begin to bring it to fulfilment through His strength and power. More

Our History

SHCC launched it first Sunday service on the 15th of May, 1995. From the very first meeting our church has had a strong passion to reach London & the world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. To see each person in the church community grow in their knowledge of God, fulfilling their potential in Christ and being fully engaged in the great commission to reach the lost and make disciples. At SHCC we believe in ‘the priesthood of all believers’. More

What We Believe

Membership of an Elim Pentecostal Church does not depend on rites or knowledge of creeds, but upon a personal experience of salvation. All who have accepted Jesus Christ as Saviour and Lord and have been born again are eligible as members and can be received into fellowship. There are, however, certain doctrines to which Elim churches subscribe. Certain ordinances are observed: breaking of bread and drinking of wine in memory of our LordÕs death (Holy Communion); baptism by total immersion in water. The anointing of the sick with oil for the healing of the body is practised in our churches. More

Mission

London and the world for Christ
Our mission statement is London and the world for Christ. Because of our multicultural make up and the influence that gives us all over the world our desire to influence the nations for Christ is also a realistic expectation. More
